- iPod Repair - Rapid Repair Service Kit
This contains everything you need to send your damaged iPod, by Royal Mail Guaranteed Special Delivery, without any risk of (further) damage. You will simply need to complete the form enclosed with the Repair Kit, so we have the relevant details, and return it with your iPod. Send your completed Repair Kit from any Post Office (no postage costs required) and the experts will take over.
As soon your iPod has been inspected, a member of the repair team will contact you. They will give you an accurate repair cost and a timescale for getting your iPod back to you. They will then go ahead with your repair as agreed. Once the repair is complete and it has passed through the rigorous testing procedures, you will be contacted. Payment for your repair will be collected and insured delivery back to you will be arranged.
The cost of the Proporta Rapid Repair Service Kit will be deducted from the cost of the repair.
Please make sure when sending your iPod that you have taken a full backup of your music and data. If you are unable to backup please make sure you let us know via the repair form and the experts will do their best to perform a backup for you.
Your Rapid Repair Kit includes:
- A case to keep your iPod secure while in transit
- A postage paid Royal Mail Special Delivery envelope
- A repairs request form to be completed by you
- An information sheet outlining the full repairs process
Please do not send power adapters or cables. All that's needed is the unit and its battery.
For other MP3 player repairs, please enquire beforehand on the number provided as due to the wide range of players available we would need to check availability for parts.
We keep a wide range of parts in stock, however, some delays may occur due to external sourcing of parts.
This service is currently only available to customers based in the UK and in France.
All work is carried out by trained staff and is fully guaranteed for 6 months. Repairs using our repair service will invalidate any manufacturers warranty.
Repairs are normally completed within 10 - 14 days.
Please be aware that the cost of the Rapid Repair Service Kit is unfortunately non-refundable, regardless of whether any repairs work was undertaken.

All items delivered to a UK address will be sent using the Royal Mail postal service, absolutely free of charge if your order is over £20. For orders under £20, shipping costs £2.95 per order. Other faster options are also available:
The free 'standard shipping' option takes between 3-5 working days from the time of dispatch, although we usually find it takes less.
All of our international orders are sent by standard mail worldwide. However, if you would like your order to be tracked, we will happily arrange for it to be sent via other recorded means. You can select the delivery option you would like at the checkout.
Please be aware that your order must be placed before 3pm to take advantage of the Next Day delivery option and this only applies to weekdays.
