For a fee of just £10 (inc. VAT) we will send you Proporta’s Rapid Repair Service Kit.
This contains everything you need to send your damaged mobile phone, by Royal Mail Guaranteed Special Delivery, without any risk of (further) damage. You will simply need to complete the form enclosed with the Repair Kit, so we have the relevant details, and return it with your mobile phone. Send your completed Repair Kit from any Post Office (no postage costs required) and the experts will take over.
As soon as your mobile phone, whether it's an iPhone 4, 4S, Blackberry Curve, Bold, Samsung Galaxy S II or any other make and model has been inspected, a member of the repair team will contact you. They will give you an accurate repair cost and a timescale for getting your mobile phone back to you. They will then go ahead with your repair as agreed. Once the repair is complete and it has passed through the rigorous testing procedures, you will be contacted. Payment for your repair will be collected and insured delivery back to you will be arranged.
Please make sure when sending your mobile phone that you have taken a full backup of your data and applications: it is standard procedure to reset your mobile phone to factory settings. If you are unable to backup please make sure you let us know via the repair form and the experts will do their best to perform a backup for you.
Your Rapid Repair Kit includes:
- A case to keep your mobile phone secure while in transit*
- A postage paid Royal Mail Special Delivery envelope
- A repairs request form to be completed by you
- An information sheet outlining the full repairs process
Please do not send power adapters, cables or memory cards. All that's needed is the unit and its battery.
We keep a wide range of parts in stock, however, some delays may occur due to external sourcing of parts.
This service is currently only available to customers based in the UK.
All work is carried out by trained staff and is fully guaranteed for 12 months. Repairs using our repair service will invalidate any manufacturers warranty.
Repairs are normally completed within 10 - 14 days.
Please be aware that the cost of the Rapid Repair Service Kit is unfortunately non-refundable, regardless of whether any repairs work was undertaken.
Please also note that customer units submitted for diagnostics that remain uncollected or have an outstanding return shipping fee, will be stored for a maximum of 6 months. For each completed week that passes a storage cost of £2.50 will apply. Once the storage cost exceeds the value of the damaged / faulty unit or after 6 months have elapsed the units will be disposed of.
* Please note that the case provided with your repair kit is for transit purposes only and won't be returned with your mobile phone (although we do promise to keep it wrapped up safe and sound in a temporary case).

Delivery and returns
All items delivered to a UK address will be sent using the Royal Mail postal service, absolutely free of charge if your order is over £10 (with standard shipping). This takes between 3-5 working days from the time of dispatch, although we usually find it takes less. We can also send your order by Royal Mail Special Delivery if you’d prefer, but we will have to charge you a little extra.
All of our orders are sent by standard mail worldwide with air mail chosen if required. However, if you would like your order to be tracked, we will happily arrange for it to be sent via other recorded means. You can select the option of delivery you would like at the checkout.
Next day delivery (UK only)
If you can’t wait to get your hands on your order we also offer two next day delivery options within the UK, for an additional charge - Next Day before 9am (£11.75 inc. VAT), and Next Day guaranteed before 4pm (£10.00 inc. VAT). Simply specify your delivery preference during the order process, but please be aware that your order must be placed before 2pm to take advantage of this speedy service and applies to weekdays.
Returns and exchanges
At Proporta, we try to make your experience as pain free as possible by offering a never-argue, Lifetime Exchange Warranty combined with free returns. We've even got a pre-paid returns label for you to print off at www.proporta.co.uk/returns (UK & US only).
Products including lifetime exchange warranty
All Proporta branded hardware products & all Ted Baker, Barbour, Roxy, Quiksilver, Ben Allen & Lalita products come with a Lifetime Exchange Warranty so if for any reason or no reason at all you are not completely satisfied, you can return the product to us and we'll exchange it for another one. We can provide you with a refund if a Proporta branded product is returned within 90 days from the date of dispatch.
Note: All Proporta TurboChargers come under two-year warranty from the date of dispatch.
Products excluding lifetime exchange warranty
All Morfica, Amphibian & Aquapac products come under a one-year exchange warranty and all batteries come under a two-year exchange warranty from the date of dispatch. Products excluded from our Lifetime Exchange Warranty are listed here.
