“Create your case” FAQs
What is the “Create your case” service from Proporta?
The Proporta “Create your case” service allows you to stand out from the crowd by personalising your smartphone or tablet protective case with any image of your choosing, or you can select a unique design from one of our exclusive collections, including classic designs from the Victoria & Albert museum, Brighton graffiti artist Ben Allen and never seen before Proporta designs.
How do you personalise the case?
We print your image on your case using an advanced 3D ETCH print technology. Your image is embedded into shatterproof polycarbonate that is scratch and UV resistant.
How long does it take to personalise my case and send it to me?
Please allow up to three working days for your case to be dispatched to you. How long it takes to arrive then depends on the postal service option selected at checkout.
How strong and protective are the cases?
Your case is made from a shatterproof polycarbonate that is scratch and UV resistant.
How will I know if my photo is of sufficient quality?
Try to pick the best quality photo you have and don't stretch or enlarge it too much, if you can help it. We will get in touch with you via email if we believe your photo is not of sufficient quality.
If I upload an image, is it still 'owned' by me?
Yes. It is your responsibility to ensure the image submitted by you to Proporta is either owned by you or rightfully licensed to you. Proporta undertakes not to re-use the image for any purpose than to make your case for you.We also do not store your image longer than 30 days.
Will the image rub off over time?
Your image is embedded into shatterproof polycarbonate that is scratch and UV resistant, so it cannot rub off.

We plan to expand the range of devices supported over time. If you have a smartphone or tablet that you'd like to personalise but is not currently supported, please email us at email@example.com
Can I buy a standard Proporta case and a personalised case at the same time?
Yes you can. They will be shipped to you separately, but don't worry, you will only ever pay one postal charge (if applicable).
Are there any countries you cannot provide the “Create your case” service to?
We can ship your personalised case to the same list of countries we support currently.
What happens if I am not happy or want to return an item?
If you don't love it we'll take it back. We strive to exceed your expectations with every case we make for you.
If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may return any unused products for a replacement, refund or account credit within 30 days of receipt.
The Proporta Lifetime Exchange Warranty does not apply to the “Create your case” service.
Can I personalise more than one case at a time?
You can order more than one case of the same design at the same time. But you cannot add two different designs to your basket at the same time. If you try to do that, your first design will be lost (don't worry, we do warn you if you try to do that). If you do want two personalised cases with different designs, please create these in two separate transactions.
Can you personalise cases with a corporate or business logo, for example?
Yes we can. If you have a special requirement regarding the image or design of a case, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'd be happy to help.
