If you’re after some culinary inspiration this festive season, why don’t you try British beauty blogger Tanya Burr’s incredible triple chocolate chip cookies? Perfect if you’re after some brownie points with the whole family this Christmas, the cookies are easy to bake and we at Proporta love them. In fact, we love them so much, we had a crack at baking them ourselves – here’s a few photos of our finished cookies:
If you haven’t heard of blogger Tanya Burr yet, where have you been? British-born Tanya and her hubbie Jim Chapman make up a massive portion of YouTube’s biggest talent, and Tanya is renowned for her beauty, fashion and lifestyle videos. Recently on the cover of Glamour magazine with her own make-up collection behind her, Tanya is a force to be reckoned with, and she’s taking the celeb world by storm – often gracing the front row at London Fashion Week and spotted attending glamorous film premieres in Soho.
As it turns out, not only is Tanya a beauty guru, she’s a bit of a domestic goddess too. With recipes including her famous chocolate brownies and recent Gingerbread House cake, she’s got festive food inspiration down to a tee.
If you’d like to bake yourself a batch of these delightful and beyond yummy cookies, here’s her list of ingredients that you’re going to need:
300g caster sugar
1 large egg
275g self-raising flour
75g cocoa powder
a little dash of milk
a large bar of milk chocolate (Cadburys is my fave)
a large bar of white chocolate
a large bar of dark chocolate (this is totally optional – only add if you are a dark choice fan. Sometimes I add Daim bars instead of dark choc for a yummy toffee crunch!)
Following that, you should probably check out her blog to get the full recipe: http://www.tanyaburr.co.uk/2015/05/my-chocolate-cookie-recipe/
Have a great festive season everybody, and be sure to let us (and especially Tanya) know if you have a go at baking these chocolate treats.
